1) If I wrote a Dr. Seuss-esque book about the research I do for my novels it would be titled “Oh, The Things You Now Know.” It would be totally inappropriate for children.
2) For some of my titles it’s very hard to answer the oft-asked question, “Where did you get the idea for this book?” If I’m honest the answer will be things like, “Well, I was lying in bed and thinking that being awake for a lobotomy would really hurt,” and “One day I was thinking about Woody Guthrie and brain parasites…”
